The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) is the governing body of our higher education institutions in the state. We want to highlight that the community of Flagstaff, as well as NAU students, faculty, and staff, are committed to addressing the climate crisis. And that carbon neutrality by 2030 is a priority for our communities. As such, we need funding and support from ABOR and the state to make these goals a reality.

We’re asking all NAZCCA members to attend the public session meeting and leave their comments about: the progress on climate action Flagstaff has already made, the need for funding to achieve our climate goals, and to highlight how Flagstaff and NAU lead the state when it comes to climate action.

In general, be positive! We are trying to promote action through positive reinforcement.
