Better World Film Series (Night 2)

  • International Pavilion - NAU 1450 Knoles Drive Flagstaff, AZ, 86001 United States (map)

Are you concerned enough about climate change to do something about it? There are many ways to get active and to motivate others to act with you. What are the best ways? How does the answer to this question depend on the issue and the social context? This inspiring film raises the question of when and how to use civil disobedience to fight climate change. Panelists will discuss when civil disobedience is the most appropriate way to address an issue and motivate people to get active and when such actions might be counterproductive. Upcoming protests against the transport of uranium ore through Flagstaff and other challenges will be presented and discussed. The film will be shown in Auditorium 101A of the NAU International Pavilion.
