STEP Fixit Clinic

  • Sedona Public Library 3250 White Bear Road Sedona, AZ, 86336 United States (map)

STEP will be hosting a Fixit Clinic at the Library on May 31 from 11-2.

WHAT IS A FIX IT CLINIC?

A Fix It Clinic is an event where we share repair skills to fix items we’d rather not toss in the trash. The event keeps waste from landfills, as Fix It Coaches teach community members real world skills to repair items. Fix-it Clinics support sustainable consumption. Volunteers can help fix items like electronics, jewelry, clothing and bicycles. If you would like to have something fixed, please sign up using this LINK to the Library’s calendar page. Reserved time slots are recommended!

A collaborative event between Community Library, Sedona, STEP and the Sedona Sustainability Dept., this program will offer opportunities for participants to repair items that otherwise would be discarded. Tools from the STEP inventory will be used. Volunteers will safely use tools to help participants do simple repairs.

Everyone is highly encouraged to sign up for a time slot here. Walk in assistance is not guaranteed.

Sedona's Tools Empowering People (STEP) is a project to bring our community together through sharing of tools. Borrow or donate tools. Join the STEP volunteer team and be part of the global movement to reduce waste and put underused tools to work!
